Accessibility

The term web accessibility refers to ensuring the ability for all users of the internet, including those with disabilities, to have equal access to the information and tools available on websites and web applications.

Millions of people have accessibility issues that affect their use of the internet. Currently most web sites and web software have some form of accessibility barriers that make it difficult or impossible for many people to use them to their full potential. As more accessible Web sites and software becomes available, people previously unable to access web based information, will be able to use and contribute to the web more effectively.
